About

I was born and then I was one of the lucky ones who also grew up. Since my dad was in the military, I grew up everywhere from Canada’s west coast, to its extensive prairies and all the way to Germany.

I’ve been writing since I was an angsty teenager and eventually saw that my passions lay with speculative fiction, the “what-if” and “could-it-be” scenarios that science fiction and fantasy explore.

I would love to be published but can’t decide between traditional and independent publishing. We’ll see if and where that journey goes.

My favourite conference is the   When Words Collide  conference held in Calgary, Alberta. I never made it to the Creative Ink conference.

I write as part of a family, with three kids, a kind and generous spouse, my focused dog and an indifferent cat.
